Blackhole dominates the sky

The recent news about the imaging of the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy was the inspiration for this artwork. The incomprehensible scale of an object that defies human experience as it dominates the landscape of an alien world. The strange sight as background stars are distorted by the lensing effect of the massive object. This digital work combines my photographic elements with a digitally drawn black hole.
