Space Inktober – A month of illustration

Inktober was started in 2009 as an artist challenge to create 31 drawings (the full marathon) or 16 drawings (the half marathon) in October. Since 2009 smaller communities of Inktober have formed. I did my first Inktober last year, I didn’t follow any prompts or theme. I kept it random to ensure I would draw something each day. This year I did SpaceInktober with a prompt list developed by science author Emily Lakdawalla and Lunar Geologist Sarah Noble. Above are the 24 illustrations I created. Below are are my favorite works.
