One of the most fascinating characters in the Frank Herbert’s Dune universe are the Navigators of the Spacing Guild. In the storyline of Dune, intelligent machines are outlawed and humans have developed their mental ability to compensate. The Navigators are humans that are physically transformed for their role as human supercomputers to calculate and safely guide space transportation across vast distances of space. These are my concepts illustrations.
