ArtStation latest Community challenge is Grand Space Opera, the Light Age. I have entered several of these challenges in the past, but never a prop design challenge. Which now that I reflect on it, I really enjoyed creating the props I used in previous challenges, I may have done better in the prop category of those past challenges. The brief for this challenge was to design three alien props and a spacecraft in an age where humanity has joined a community of space fairing civilizations. I chose to design a system of space travel. The components being a space warp gate, tug spacecraft that move spacecraft through the gate, space port security craft and a communications node that allows communications across the galaxy using the warp gates.
