Landscape Arch has the longest span of all the arches in Arches National Park. According to the National Park Service, Landscape Arch has a span of 306 feet. This illustration was partially inspired by the city streets of Taipei. I wanted to convey the idea of a urban environment that has both elements of order and chaos. A sense of the future in a familiar place. Drawn on the iPad using the Sketchbook Pro app. Below is a timelapse recording as I created this illustration. I would like to thank the MacinTech Users’ Group for inviting me to demonstrate and discuss the process of creating art on the Apple iPad. I shared a few of my time-lapse videos and demonstrated painting on the iPad by creating a quick sunset image. I also covered topics such as types of stylus, various drawing apps, exporting and file preparation for printing. I brought some canvas prints of different sizes to illustrate the print quality.
